Marching forward with more progress!

Warm sun has finally started to peak through the clouds of the chilly north, which means we can stretch our limbs and take a breather. While we’re doing that, let’s talk about what we’ve been up to in terms of development. 

The low level programming of the rules of the game and content (heroes, villains, and environments) is well underway. All of the Freedom Five and half of the environments are complete, along with a couple of villains to test them against. The Prime Wardens are up next! We're also working on the UI, but that's not in a place where we can showcase it yet.

Last time we showed you some idle animations, which were intentionally very subtle. The goal is a little bit of life, not a distraction. However, these heroes and villains aren't always idle! Sometimes they have to take actions, and so we're working on more animations to signify they are doing something. Here's what we have so far for the Prime Wardens and their occasional companion, Ra!

Sentinels 2 is "Moving" Right Along in 2025

As unprecedented winter storms continue to batter most of North America, we've been keeping warm by the heat of our monitors while we continue to carve Sentinels 2 from the digital marble. While the low-level development of the rules engine doesn't offer much by way of interesting visuals to show you, Jennifer has been working on bringing the characters to life like you've never seen them before!

Lockdown and Shipping Update

Just a quick update on logistics as the year wraps up. We have been busy locking down orders and charging cards this past week and here's what you can expect going forward:

Add-ons
  • Add-ons for existing products will ship by the end of this week. All digital Add-ons will be delivered via your BackerKit dashboard.

Super-Scientific Tachyon 
  • If your order includes a Super-Scientific Tachyon card, we plan to begin (and hopefully finish) shipping those out this week.
  • *NOTE* - if you want your card shipped ASAP,  please have your survey filled out by 9AM eastern time  Thursday, December 12.

Sentinels 2
  • Moving into next year, we'll be hard at work bringing Sentinels 2 to the digital tabletop.

Campaign Complete! Sentinels 2 ✅, Enhanced Campaign Mode ✅

You did it! 🎉

As of noon on Saturday, the campaign official closed with over $62k raised, which includes the Stretch Goal for Enhanced Campaign Mode!

Some of you may be bummed we didn't get to Rook City Renegades, but I wouldn't worry. First things first, after all!

Looking Forward
Now that the campaign has ended, BackerKit will give you 2 weeks to correct any billing issues, and then we will send out surveys. Look for those on or around December 2nd. We'll then charge cards at the end of the week. Add-ons for already existing products (as well as Super-Scientific Tachyon Cards) will begin shipping out on or around December 9th.

Campaign Ends Tomorrow - Enhanced Campaign in Sight!

There's just 24 hours remaining in the campaign and we're so close to unlocking Enhanced Campaign Mode!

As of this writing, there's just over $4k left to reach the $60k stretch goal - that's only around 150 new pledges! Think of anyone you know who loves Sentinels, heroes, comics, or is just feeling particularly generous, and send them to SentinelsDigital.com/2 before lunchtime tomorrow!

If you've played Sentinels 1, the music will certainly feel familiar, but the way music will be used in Sentinels 2 has been completely rethought.
